Mac Ventura – no sync

    I have Day One on IOS and Mac. I’m a legacy user and they have synced every since I first purchased them.

    I upgraded to Ventura on my Mac a couple of days ago and sync no longer works on my Mac. It says “Error” and in the drop down for details it says:

    Error Domain=NSCocoaErrorDomain Code=3840 “JSON text did not start with array or object and option to allow fragments not set. around line 1, column 0.” UserInfo={NSDebugDescription=JSON text did not start with array or object and option to allow fragments not set. around line 1, column 0., NSJSONSerializationErrorIndex=0}

    I emailed support but they said support is only for premium users. Legacy users retained sync so I am not sure how to fix this.

    Hello! 👋

    It sounds like the app may be on an outdated version.

    Can you find the version number of Day One on each device and let me know what you have? See here:
