Mac menu icon not displaying

Hello. The menu icon for Day One is not displaying on my Mac. I’ve enabled “Show Menu Bar Entry” in the settings, I’ve also enabled reminders. I’ve restarted my computer as well. Yet, the menu bar icon is not working.

I tested this out but cannot replicate the issue on my end. Can you please ensure that Day One is up to date on your Mac?
You can check this by going to the App Store, Updates, then on the top on MacOS, click on ‘Store’ > ‘Reload Page’. That will cause any new updates to show up if available.
If that does not help, let us know if your Menu Bar already has a lot of apps listed? On newer versions of MacOS, it tends to hide apps on smaller screens if not enough space is available.

My Day One app has the same issue. The menu bar still has a lot of space, and the app is also the latest version. Please contact me to check what the problem is.

Hello, the Day One app is up-to-date. I’ve even tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app. I have very few icons in the menu bar and there is plenty of space. I think the issue might be that I seem to no longer have the Day One Helper program installed on my computer. Is there a way to re-install this on my computer? The Day One website does not have a straightforward link or instructions for doing this.
