I just signed in and no entries. I just lost 6 years of entries. Devastated. What happened?!

- When did you first download Day One?
- Did you sign in to a Day One Sync account in the app settings?
- When was the last time you saw the entries?
- Has anything happened to the device or to Day One since then?

I have lost the data stored in using markdown data. I am sure I did not delete any of the markdown tables. I spend lots of hours filling the data over many days. How will I restore it?

Could you please take a moment to check your entry’s version history if you haven’t done so already? You might find your previous data, in markdown format, still intact there. Here’s how you can do it:
First, open the entry you’re looking for. Next, tap on the ‘More’ option (•••) situated at the top right corner of the screen. From the dropdown menu, select ‘Version History’. This will display all the revisions that have been synced to Day One Sync.
To view the different versions, simply tap on the revisions. Once you find the version you were looking for, tap ‘Restore’ at the top right corner of the screen.
