Kudos to Day One

I’m dropping this in the Support channel b/c I hope the founder and developers get to read it.
I’ve been using Day One for thirteen years and have watched it grow from basically a date-driven note keeper to something almost as feature-packed as MS Word but far, far easier and more enjoyable to use. I remember my excitement, a decade ago, at being able to add ONE photo to each journal entry. Soon after that, it was ten. Then videos. A now, DayOne generates full PDF documents that mirror the iPad entries both in content AND format. Just terrific.
My primary chronicles visits to our second house on Lake Erie, and now includes almost 1200 entries. It started out as just bullet points of significant daily events and has grown into full pages of narrative plus photos and videos. It’s a real gift to be able revisit entries from five, eight and ten years ago and recall treasured experiences.
I also have vacation journals that are equally valuable from both pre- and post-COVID eras.
I just wanted to say thanks for giving us such a pleasant too to do this, and thanks for sticking with the product. I’ve been with you nearly all the way, and the richness of my own writing has grown with (and partly because of) the growing richness of your product. We’re all really luck to have DayOne.
