JSON Import fails in most recent DayOne Version (Android)

When I export a diary to JSON (.zip) and then try to import it again, the app displays a failure. When will there be a fix for this problem? The last update did not fix it unfortunately.

When exporting the JSON, where is it being saved? Is it saved to local storage on the Android device?
Can you find the version number of Day One and let us know what you have? See here:

It is saved on the local storage on the Android device.
My DayOne version is 2023.25 (436)

Hi @mzzb16718dd1a24. I checked with engineering and this should be fixed in the update for version 2024.2, coming soon.

Hi @staff-james, I just updated to version 2024.2 and the problem is still the same. Exported JSON files (ZIP) cannot be imported.
