Is there anything that isn’t included in the export?

  I like that the premium version allows me to add more content to my journal (like video, audio, sketches, PDFs, etc). But I’m worried I won’t have that content if I export my journal in the event that I stop using DayOne. Does DayOne provide a way to export everything or are some features lost in the export? I saw there is PDF, JSON, and Text so I’m assuming text or json could have everything. But is there any content missing upon export?

  Hello there,

  The JSON export will contain all data and media.

  PDFs will not export videos or audio at this time. I’d be happy to submit a feature request on your behalf.

  Plain Text exports should contain a folder with all media in it.

  So right now, only the PDF option wouldn’t export everything.
