is audio sent to Apple’s servers when transcribed?

  I have been trying to read Apply’s Siri privacy policy and it is unclear to me if the audio transcribed in DayOne is done on the device or if it is sent to Apple’s servers.

  Our app uses the built-in dictate feature in the iOS of your device: https://support.apple.com/guide/iphone/dictate-text-iph2c0651d2/ios . I recommend you reach out directly to Apple for clarification on how exactly the audio is transcribed. They will best be able to clarify any questions you have about their process.
