IPad keyboard arrow key bug

I’ve noticed after leaving Day One open on my iPad (which I typically always do) that the keyboard’s arrow keys don’t remain in the text editor’s focus, but jump to the daily entry sidebar.
E.g. when going back for text editing then trying to arrow down to where I was, Day One will only change to yesterday’s entry, then the day before than with each arrow downward.
Closing Day One in the app-switcher resolves this issue, but typically returns in a few days. I’ve confirmed it’s not my keyboard itself, perhaps some sort of memory leak. -
Hello! Thanks for posting. Is Day One being left in the foreground when this happens? Day One will attempt to save/sync data about every 30 seconds when not typing. If this is happening, it sounds like Day One is exiting edit mode in order to save. What is the approximate duration that Day One is being left open when you notice the behavior?

I’ve had the same issue for months. I tried un/reinstalling the app, then contacted Day One tech support and now one could figure it out. Only advice I got was to shut down the app and reopen it. I haven’t noticed any pattern around when it happens.
