Instagram Import not including Locations?

Is there something I need to set on Instagram or Day One to ensure the import brings in locations as well? I really wouldn’t want to have to go through all the imported posts to add the location!

Hi @steamshift! Thanks for reaching out.
Location is not included by Meta for this Instagram API. Locations would need to be added manually to Day One entries.
This can be done in bulk if some of your Instagram posts are from the same location.
- Swipe from right to left on an entry in the List view.
- Tap Select
- Select the desired entries
- Tap ••• at the bottom right
- Edit Location
This will add the location to all selected entries.
