Improvements to Slash commands

    Hi,

I’m a premium subscriber. The slash commands on my Mac don’t auto-suggest anymore. Before, typing / used to show clickable options, as per your documentation.

Also, I wish there was full support for all block level format options in slash commands. E.g. I’m frequently using quote blocks, but there is no slash command for that according to the documentation.

Furthermore, I’m using German local, and the slash commands are (partially?) adopted to the user locale but not documented anywhere! So it is impossible to know, e.g., what the equivalent to /todo is. Day One documentation needs improvements in that regard, and alternatives to the slash commands based on the user’s locale should be handled as aliases only, so that e.g., /todo works in any locale.

    Thanks for the support

  • Thanks for your feedback, @mtnzxwqvwp!

I have added this to our ideas board. We will look into implementing these changes in a future update :)

If others would like such a feature too, please comment with a +1 in this thread.

Same here: on Mac OS the slash commands stopped working.

It would be even cool to be able to add some new style in Day One App. Or at least substitute the existing ones with real styles. (I.e., you cannot use a different font in titles than in the body of your entries: I love clean style, not limitations.)

Sorry, I found the topic by googling, and going out I saw it was already solved.
Even if my App was up to date, I had to close it and reopen it. Slash commands are back. Thanks.
