Improvement idea for photo selection flow

I noticed that in the photo picker, there’s already a distinction between photos that have been used in entries and those that haven’t, which is great. However, when scrolling through a large library, it still takes a bit of effort to visually filter them out. It would be really helpful if the used photos could be hidden via a toggle.
Another idea was something like a “memory pointer”. Right now, the photo picker always starts from the most recent photos or from the end of a specific day’s photos. That works in general, but when I’m going through my library gradually, I often don’t finish everything in one go. So every time I come back, I have to scroll to find where I left off again. If the app can remember my last browsing position and take me back there next time, instead of resetting to the latest photos, that would be better.
