I’m Done With Day One. You Don’t Value Your Paying Users

Okay, got it. I’m done with your years of laziness. I’m switching over to Everlog—the app that people are buzzing about lately. Of course I’ll be canceling my subscription and deleting Day One.

There’s not a single thing your app does better. they has every feature you offer, plus everything I asked for, without me having to beg for years.

Since this is the last time I’ll bother to speak up,

It’s pathetic that a loyal, paying user who stuck with you for years gets brushed off with “your request is not our priority” when all I’ve ever asked for is something that’s already a basic iOS feature. In other words, you don’t value each paying subscriber at all. That’s how you close this chapter—with arrogance and excuses. Honestly, it’s shocking and disgraceful.

I won’t be expecting improvements anymore. What I do expect is for you to watch as more and more people here in my country dump Day One and move to Everlog.

I won’t say “take care.” Keep living with that stubborn arrogance.

I get it. I wish they updated more features instead of just focusing on the Web app. I really want the backlinks.

But how is everlog better than Dayone? Just the customer experience?
