IFTTT integration failing with ‘unable to parse error response body’

Since midday today, all my many DayOne IFTTT integrations have failed with the same error. “Unable to parse error response body” which sounded to me like an issue with the service.
I reconnected the service – no effect.
I signed out and logged back in – no effect.
I removed the service (removing all my applets) and built a new one – no effect.Although this seems to point to an issue with the DayOne Service, I have emailed them, does anyone else have the same issue or any ideas how to solve?
