IFTTT authentication for integration

  • Unknown's avatar

I am attempting to implement IFTTT integration with Day One… Spent the last hour trying to “login” to my IFTT account when attempting to “integrate the two services”…

Day One is asking me for my IFTTT email address and password… This is being rejected. I have reset my password on IFTTT a couple of times… I am able to log into IFTTT and confirm the correct password….

Curiously, Day One is asking for my IFTTT email but IFTTT itself uses “user ID” as authentication. I have also attempted to use my IFTTT “user ID” to authenticate on the Day One side without luck…

I have also tried to connect the services from the IFTTT side without luck… It is rejecting connection with Day One…

seems like this shouldn’t be so difficult. Any suggestions? I find nothing in this forum that addresses this specific issue nor via Google search. Thx!

Is your Day One account accessed using Sign in with Apple?
