How to remove erroneous location “suggestions”?
-
“Auto-add location” has been awesome, as I journal at home most nights and my current location is added to the entry. I got in the habit of just changing the name of my current location to “Home”. Unfortunately, that resulted in the label “Home” being applied to locations that seem to be several blocks or even miles from my actual home, making the map incredibly messy. I went through all these “Home” locations that were NOT assigned to my home address, and changed the location to be my home address.
HOWEVER! Now I go to set the location as “Home” at my home address, but when I type “Home”, 60 different nearby addresses pop up and I have to scroll to find mine every time. I’ve tried typing my full address every time but it’s frankly too many characters before it finally pops up.
Is there any way to delete these ghost “suggestions” for “Home” on addresses that aren’t mine?

Hi! Can you try turning off “Auto-apply Point of Interest” in Day One?
In the iOS app, you can go to Settings > Location History to toggle it off.
