How do I get my account data removed?

This is a strange support system. I got a note about privacy updates, and that if I had any questions, I should respond to the email, only to receive an email back that said, that route was only for premium members.
Searching here, it appears there is not anything account related, but I’d like my account information deleted. How, or who, do I have to contact to do that as it has been a long time since I’ve used Day One. -

Sorry for the confusion!
All data would need to be deleted on your end. Once this is done your entries and information will be deleted.

When I follow the instructions to “delete your journal data from our servers”, after I’ve confirmed my wish to delete the data, my journal entries are still viewable, right there, in the web browser! How could they have been deleted?

Hi @philip142857, after clearing data from the servers, please try signing out and back in. The data should be deleted. Let us know if you see something different.
