How do I export a journal with working videos?

I’m really frustrated because when I export a journal in DayOne, I can export all of the text, but I can’t get videos to export right. It just inserts a still image in place of the video. How can I just export everything correctly???

Exporting media like videos, audio, and PDF attachments are best accomplished using the JSON or Plain Text export options: https://dayoneapp.com/guides/tips-and-tutorials/exporting-entries
The PDF export does not currently support video, audio, or all PDF attachment pages.

Re-opening the discussion because I am not able to export any videos even with JSON Export. Only jpeg and png files are exported.

Is there an updated guide to exporting entries available? The guide at https://dayoneapp.com/guides/tips-and-tutorials/exporting-entries gives no guidance about exporting anything other than text and pictures but Day One allows me to include so much more in a journal entry. Does that mean all of the other attachments cannot be exported?
Also, I don’t believe the guide can be correct in saying “The web app does not yet have an export option.” while also linking to
