How do I back up and restore

I made a long very important entry and it took me nearly 3 hours of time. I was using my windows 11 laptop as I often do during the day and then when I shut down for the evening (closed the laptop lid) I went on my phone later and noticed it was missing. Then I went back to my laptop and it was missing from there. I pray that like Google Docs which is where I used to journal with ease… I pray that here I can simply use some back up and restore or version history option that will put me back on track. Please help !!! I have contacted support and now desperately seeking help here. HELP ME PLEASE !!!
