How can I disable spell check?

  Hello, I’m using day one windows app. I want to disable spell check function. But I cannot find that in the option. Can I disable that? I’m using windows 11.

  I’m not english speaker, forgive my english skill. Thank you.

  Hey @csj1728, I don’t think there’s an option to disable spell check in the Windows version right now. I’ve looked for it too. Hopefully they add that setting in a future update!

  Hi there! Thank you for your feedback. I’ve added a feature request to add an in-app option to disable and/or activate the spellchecker on the Windows app. As a workaround, you can disable spellcheck for Windows 11 in the system settings. However, that affects all apps on the device.

  Hello,

  Does this option work? In windows 10 even if the spell check is off in windows settings, Day One app underlines non English words.

  Hi, @perfectlyinspiring051c517061! I’m afraid that there is an open bug report for this feature. We found that spellcheck is enabled even when it is turned off in the Windows OS settings. I’ll make sure to add your case to the report, however, so the developers are aware.
