How Can I Add Encryption to a Journal

  I want to add encryption to one of my journals, but I can’t figure out how to do it. I’m using macOS 15.4.1, Day One for Mac 2025.9 (1658).
  
  I go to Settings > Journals > My Journal and double-click. End-to-end encryption is turned off, and I can’t figure out how to turn it on.

  Hi there, @michaelhyatt! It sounds like this is affecting only one journal, while other journals already have encryption. If the journal is older, it’s possible that journal has Standard encryption only. If so, you will need to create a new journal and transfer entries over.
