Freezes when “On this day” is clicked

Is anyone else having trouble fixing the issue where the Mac app freezes when you click “On this day”? I am using the newest version. I tried deleting the app and re-installing it but it doesn’t seem to be working. I thought this issue was fixed in a previous version.

Hi,
I first reported this issue to Day One on 9th June 2022 and to be honest, the support from Day One has been abysmal. I don’t think they have any intention of fixing this which is unfortunate as it was a nice little feature. Hopefully when the Apple journal app comes out it will have a similar function. Out of curiosity, what age is your Mac?

I have the same problem. “On This Day” crashes. I read somewhere that it may have to do with blank entries, but I can’t even open them to delete them. Please help, Day One support. On This Day is the reason why I have this app.
