Freeze/Crash on new install MacOS 13.4.1 (22F82)

I use this on my android, and wanted to get the desktop version but every time I open it and go to “new entry” it just freezes and I have to force quit. I don’t see a support email so I guess I have to post here.

Hello! Thanks for reaching out. That is frustrating to have the app freeze every time you create a new entry.
If you are subscribed to Premium, please open Day One > Settings > Support > Contact Support. This will open the default Mail app so that you can contact our support team. That will be the best option to dig deeper into this issue.
