Free layout of the book

There are too many restrictions when making books. If I can make a book, I want to lay it out freely. I came up with an idea. I think it’s complete if you make a layout with another app and paste it into Day one! To do that, I have to do the page without any blanks, so I feel like it will be perfect if I can make the size of the photo freely!!

@nsurtruknsnysy When printing a book, there is an algorithm that helps structure the pages to make the best use of space. So even if you copy and paste something into a journal, it may look different, to an extent, when printing.
If you do have success doing this, I’d love to hear what app was used and more about your workflow!
Day One does not want to change this.
@jcdichant We do, in fact, want to introduce more book printing customization and have talked about how to do this.
There is a lot that goes on behind the scenes when introducing and developing new features. Development takes time. Humans do reply to the forums, and we do log all these requests for further review for the design and development teams.
