Feedback re: new layout design

The new design is not good.
- For templated journal entries, news feed looks repetitive since each post and the corresponding previews provided preview appears the same.
- Tags are now much more hidden/hard to notice find; only space to display 1 tag when post contains photo
- Why must all-day entries be logged as 12:00 AM? It was better when no time showed

Thanks for reaching out and sharing the feedback! The design team made some tweaks to the UI change in 2023.16 based on the feedback we received. May I have you try updating the app to 2023.16 and let us know if that looks better to you?

Some people like the new timeline , and some people don’t. That happens when you change things. But were people complaining about the ‘old’ timeline view? What was wrong with it that it needed the overhaul??

Hi @rothienorman 👋 We did receive feedback about the previous Timeline design that it felt too “cramped” with little spaces between the entry title, text, and other elements. I’m sorry if the changes didn’t work for you, and this is definitely a great learning opportunity for us. So, please keep sharing feedback and suggestions to help us make a better product for you!

The new layout is awful. I actually use the app less now because of it. Is there a way to change to layout so it’s at least similar to the way it used to be?
I agree with others. I really dont get the need for this change? Classic case of why fix what’s not broken.

We don’t have a way to switch back to the old layout, but if you have any feedback on specific elements of the new design that aren’t working for you we’re happy to address them!
