  Day One certainly deserves its high rating. If it had a few additional features, I would love it even more:

  Full screen view of Today
  Integrated To Do List and Scheduler (I realize that these are more “planner” oriented features but these things are a part of my daily journaling experience.) It would also be great if they had 2-way sync with Apple Reminders and Google Calendar.
  Greater support for the Apple Pencil as a writing tool rather than just a drawing tool, utilizing built in templates such as lined, graph and dotted pages. One of the benefits of keeping a journal is the actual writing process with pen and paper.
