Feature Request security suggestion for web app

I’m a premium user where I use my Android Phone, iPad and now the (beta) Web app. I’m really enjoying Day One cross multiple devices and have had no troubles so far.
However, I have extra security on my ipad and phone. I pride my devices being safe for people to use, but I do appreciate the extra security for this app – and I would like to see some kind of extra security/authentication for the web app especially as I noticed that all I needed to do was come to the webpage and I’m in. I use 2FA in most places already but even just a personally set pin code prior to viewing would be nice and put my mind at ease.

I can see how extra security would be appreciated! You’re not the only who’s asked about 2FA in our apps, and I’ll add your words here to our team’s ongoing discussion on it.

can we get an update on 2FA for desktop versions as well? I rather have the extra step on my computer. the phone is pretty good for password or fingerprint verification
