Feature Request: Search Handwritten Notes

My current workflow is to hand-write my journal on my Boox Go 10. I then use the handwriting-to-text conversion to create a plain text file in Dropbox, then use my laptop to copy/paste that into Day One. Being able to just drop the handwritten file in would be wonderful.

This would be a game changer to be able to actually have my hand written notes (similar in appearance to Apple Notes) and to be able to search. Scribble just doesn’t suffice IMO, and I love DayOne otherwise.

+1 for me as well. This is such a critical feature and one that I think could be easily implemented in the app. It’s really the only thing holding me back from making this my primary go to journaling source. The ability to search through handwritten notes for topics, words, etc. Using the Apple Pencil is such a wonderful experience and handwriting in a journal is what I do daily, just not in Day One since it its not searchable… yet! Developers please add this feature!
