Feature Request: Mac/Mobile app should highlight today in List View.

This is my second feature request for Day One Journal. As I mentioned in the previous, this app is a great helper in organizing my life.
All 4 views are great, my favorite views are ListView and Calendar View (by the month). Since I have Pinned Items, events in the future, and events in the past all in the list, it’s hard to see “Where is today”.
My suggestion is, highlight (very lightly) on today’s items on the list. Journal has its designated color. We can calculate light tone from the journal color.
If today don’t have any journal item, simply put a think line between the previous day, and the next day.
This visual indicator will provide a good clue separating Past events vs. Future events (TODO item).
