  Feature Request from a Long-Time Loyal User: Export as Image

  Dear Day One Team,

  I hope this message finds you well.

  First of all, I want to express my sincere appreciation for the incredible work you’ve put into building Day One. I’ve been a loyal user for years, and Day One has become an essential part of my daily life—helping me capture memories, reflect, and preserve moments that matter.

  As a longtime user, I’d like to humbly suggest a feature that I believe would greatly enhance the journaling experience: the ability to export individual entries.

  This feature would be incredibly useful for:

  • Sharing meaningful entries on social media or with loved ones in a more visual, privacy-conscious way.
  • Creating beautiful visual summaries or “memory cards” for printing or keepsakes.
  • Integrating journal content into other creative projects, like scrapbooking or digital storytelling.

  While I understand there are existing export options like PDF and text, an image export option would add a layer of flexibility and aesthetic appeal that I think many users—especially long-term journalers—would deeply appreciate.

  Thank you again for building such a meaningful product and for continuing to improve it. I look forward to seeing how Day One evolves, and I truly hope this feature might be considered in the future.
