FEATURE: Hide title of entry
-
Sometimes I embarrass myself with my entry headings. I’d love to be able to selectively hide them from the sidebar (maybe just a blank square? or text indicating a hidden title). That way it offers just a bit more privacy.
Along the same lines, I’d like an option to hide media preview from the sidebar view.

Hi @shekinayeo,
You can hide journal content by adjusting the setting per each journal.
iOS:
- Open Day One app.
- Go to Settings.
- Tap on Journals.
- Select the journal you want to hide the headings for.
- Turn on the toggle for Conceal Content.
Entries with headings will now be hidden on the Timeline until tapped. You can tap the eye icon on the entry to reveal the content and tap the eye icon next to the journal status to conceal it again.
macOS:
- Open Day One app.
- Go to Settings.
- Click the “I” icon next to the journal you want to hide the headings for.
- Check the box for Conceal content.
Once concealed, entry content with headings will be hidden in the Timeline view until clicked. You can click the eye icon at the top of the app to conceal entries again.
Please note, this setting conceals media as well :)
