“Event” feature for grouping events, trips, etc.

  Unless there is already such a feature, I’d love to see a way to group entries from a trip into an event. I guess I could make the trip its own journal, but that seems excessive.

  Using an event tag can help.
  Then you can select and print « event tag only » notes.

  Thanks, but that’s not really what I’m talking about. An easy way to go back to this trip I took last year, for example. Tags are too unwieldy for this purpose.

  Thanks, @drinkipa! I was also going to recommend tags. If that is not what you would prefer, could you tell us a little more about how you’d like to see a feature like this implemented?

  Apologies for the delay. I was on vacation out of the country, exactly where I’d want this sort of functionality. I hate to go there, but look at Momento’s Events feature. Along those lines.

  this is a fantastic idea –

  1. being able to nest pages under a trip or journey
  2. being able to define multiple locations to headings within a journal entry
  3. being able to define a start and finish location for an entry (ie a flight somewhere)

  great addition to my idea! Specify a date range to automatically group them all.
