Encryption not working on my Plus account

I have Plus status but can’t get encryption to work as it asks for my DI code which I do not have. I saw the solution was to delete the account. However, does that cause me to lose my Plus status? What options do I have to get encryption working for me. I’m on Android and web.

No, following the guide here to get a new key will not cause you to lose Plus. The Plus (legacy) status is based on the Apple ID that was used to buy Day One before it was a subscription. As long as you keep the same Apple ID, you do not lose this status.
