Editing entries with Suggestions while on macOS

    Today, I created a new entry in my Journal using the Suggestions feature. It placed a few photos in my Entry and added some location data from the Suggestion.

    After this was done, I let it sync and then I opened it on my macOS 14.1.2 using DayOne 2023.25 (1526) and was able to see the photos and location info. However, when I went to edit the Entry on my Mac I was told that it was created in a newer version of DayOne and any changes may mess up the entry.

    I assume this is a standard version check feature that DayOne has and it doesn’t look deeply into what’s happening to see if there are any issues with what I’m really doing. Can someone from the DayOne team confirm for me whether editing an Entry in my Journal that was created via Suggestions will cause corruption or data loss when it’s done on my Mac?
