Display An Entry Widget

I would really like the ability to display a chosen entry as a widget on MacOS and to be able to easily change which entry is displayed.
For me the primary usecase here is I keep weekly TODO lists and would like to see them at a glance. But I could see this being useful for all sorts of “note to self” journaling.
