Delete accounts for end-to-end encryption reset

Because I lost my end-to-end encryption key, I want to delete my account and re sign up it for reactivation.
My account is plus, but will it remain plus even if I re-sign up with the same Apple account after deleting the account?
If not, I would like to cancel the account deletion, is it possible -

I have this same question. I have Plus status but can’t get encryption to work as it asks for my DI code which I do not have. I saw the solution was to delete the account. However, does that cause me to lose my Plus status?

Hello @brian3242.
The Plus status is based on your Apple ID for having paid for Day One before it was changed to the subscription business model. As long as you are using the same Apple ID on the App Store, you will retain the Plus status indefinitely

Yes. As long as you’re using the account associated with that Plus tier, then you can continue to use it.
