DayOne opens on a date in the past

  When I open Dayone, it always opens on Oct 2023 entry. What to do to fix the issue.

  Are you experiencing this issue on Mac?

  If so, this has been a known issue affecting some users and we have had trouble reproducing it. We have some steps that should resolve this locally though. 

  1. Close the entry by clicking the X at the top left of the entry. 
  2. Switch to the Timeline view. https://dayoneapp.com/guides/tips-and-tutorials/journal-views-in-day-one-for-macos/
  3. Close the app
  4. Re-open.
