Day one won’t load on new iPhone

I think I must have had the old app on my old iPhone, but now that I upgraded to a new iPhone, I can’t open the app.
I could delete the app and reinstall, but I am worried about losing all of my entries. I tried to log in on the web but have no idea of my password. Doh I feel silly but please help. Thank you. -
@zinterpellates Are you transferring all of the content from your old iPhone to your new one?
Do you still have the old iPhone? If so, can you please check which version of the app you have there? We’re wondering if you’re still on Day One Classic or not.

yes the Verizon store transferred everything to the new phone. I had to give them the old phone so I don’t know what version is was. I believe I downloaded the day one app in October 2022 if that helps.

Is the app showing it is mid-update or download?
