Day One subscription doesn’t seem to be recognised on my phone or iPad.

I bought day one a week or so ago on my MacBook and decided straight away to purchase the premium subscription purely based on the fact that you can sync the journal across devices. I paid for it on the the Mac app store and my Mac day one app assures me I have a premium subscription. When I open the app on my phone and tablet, it says I must join the subscription to log in on [the] device. There’s no where else to go on the app. I don’t want to be charged for it again, and as for apple, the subscription is read and valid according my subscriptions manager.
TLDR: How do I log in to all my devices due to the app not registering my account has already purchased a subscription -

- Then try these steps if necessary (on the device/platform where you originally subscribed. Sounds like you originally subscribed on your Mac, so you will restore your purchase there.): https://dayoneapp.com/guides/premium-subscription-troubleshooting/
