Day One roadmap ?

Is there a roadmap of planned developments for Day One?
Over the last few months, I haven’t seen any changes to Day One, or any consistent new features added. However, there are many user requests in this forum.
Not knowing whether what you want is taken into account or not is limiting. It’s frustrating, especially as it’s a subscription.
Having an idea of what is or isn’t planned would be a real plus in terms of knowing how to position ourselves in relation to Day One and other applications.Thanks for your reply.

We do not have a public facing roadmap at this time. I’d be happy to forward this over to the developers for consideration.
New features take time to develop and are not added with each update, but are added when they are ready. We do keep an eye on what users are requesting, and we do track those in GitHub so we can look at them when considering new features.
We do receive many requests and not all can be added to the app, but all are recorded.

Don’t hesitate to add these long-term requests to your developers list :
- multiple locations for a single entry
- native integration of creative and professional Instagram accounts
- export of a journal in a format other than PDF (i.e. editable)
- support for the Apple Stylus on iPad
- a public API for integrating more applications via IFTTT or Zapier
Maybe one day my dreams will come true …

Thank you for great suggestions! I’ve forwarded them as feature requests.
As for exporting in an ‘editable’ format other than PDF, have you tried our other export options? We currently offer JSON and plaintext exports in addition to PDF. On iOS devices, we also offer CSV exports.

I tried JSON but it is not really user friendly to adjust the layout or resize images.
Let’s add to the list the possibility to store our journals and data in Europe, as USA is not the place to store anymore when you live in Europe. I use other services with a USA or Europe storage choice when creating your account. -
Help!!
I installed day one on a new ipad, but the wrong journal was loaded after login. I checked the journal id and it was different than the one on my mac and my iphone.
How do I get the original journal onto the new ipad??
