Day One missing from share sheet

Since updating to 2023.16, there is a problem using the Share Sheet to transfer photos to Day One. The problem occurs with some photos and not others.
In my iPad photos app, if I select a photo and open the share sheet, the Day One app is missing from the options list. But this only applies to some photos.
For some other photos, Day One is listed as an option I.e. If I select two photos, the Day One option is present in the share sheet.

This is not an issue on my iphone, which is using the earlier version 2023.15. -
I’d like to investigate! Can you use the + icon to add the image here that you’re having trouble sharing in our app? Alternatively please tap on the i icon for the photo in your Photos app and let me know the file type you see listed. I tested this on my iPhone and was able to share HEIF, JPEG and PNG files to Day One to start a new entry.
