Customs Fees for Day One Print Order

Hi everyone,
I’m from Italy and I recently ordered a printed version of my Day One journal. However, when the courier delivered the package, they asked me to pay customs fees, which weren’t mentioned during the ordering process.
Has anyone else experienced something similar? I’ve tried contacting customer support, but I haven’t received a response yet.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

@xt479cxcvg Import fees, such as customs charges, are assessed by the destination country and are the responsibility of the buyer.
These fees are not included in the shipping costs paid to us and can vary based on the country’s regulations. We do mention that import fees may be assessed for international orders, and they are paid by the buyer:

Unfortunately, we do not have control over these charges, and they are not indicated during the purchase process as they are determined by customs authorities.
