Would love this!
I also use Ulysses to write and use the Menlo font. It annoys me more than it probably should that I can’t have the same font in Day One 🤣

A vote for me, too, please! I would love to be able to use Carollo Playscript in the Mac app like I can in the iPhone app. Thanks!

Nice to see that there is maybe renewed interest in this. Ever since v2 I’ve found the built in options underwhelming. I would much prefer the ability to choose any installed font even if some of them screw up the UI.

Add my vote for custom fonts in macOS like iOS. Related, it would be great to allow font/color changing in formatted text. I know this is a bit of a pain in markdown, but could there not be use of <span> tags under the hood to accomplish it?

Hey everyone. Just wanted to add another vote for this feature.
I’m using IBM Plex Sans font on iOS Day One and across other apps. It’s somewhat disturbing when I switch to macOS where the font is different. The pre-defined list of fonts is nice, but there are just so many great options out there…
While on this note, since Day One is primarily a writing app at its core, I would really love to see more typography customization features: line height, character spacing, line/column width—some fonts look better with tight lines, some do not 🤷.

Hi @stickoman,
Thank you for your feedback! I’ve added a vote for each of the feature requests: custom fonts for macOS, and additional typography customization features.
