custom fonts on macOS

On iOS, I can change to the system font I added, but not on macOS. Please let me change to the system font on mac!

Hello, can you please note some additional demand for custom fonts on macOS? It drives me a little more crazy than it should not being able to use the same fonts between iOS, iPadOS, and macOS in Day One. 😅
I have my fint that I prefer for when I’m in a journaling state of mind and I can’t use it on a mac… the place where I do 90% of my writing.

Add my vote too, please. The font selection on Mac isn’t nearly wide enough. I’ve tried them all and don’t like any of them for writing. Day One needs some fonts like SF Mono or Menlo.

please add custom font feature to other platforms as well. A handwritten font would be amazing.

As a new user of Day One, I find the lack of font choice on Mac OS (and other platforms e.g. IOS) really annoying and very surprising. I fully support what other individuals have stated earlier in this thread. Please address this issue with some urgency; it is 2024 now, not the 1960’s.

Adding this feature is definitely something we’re looking into, though we don’t have a specific timeline for its implementation at the moment. -
