Creating an entry via CLI with multiple photos not working

    Hey!

Using this help article to create entries via the CLI. Some entires contain multiple photos. If there is 1 photos, I am able to successfully create the entries, but if the -a argument contains more than 1 file, I get the following error:

    Error: Invalid value(s) for option -a, --attachments; -p, --photos: files/2023-12-31/fb1d70dc3b11d5fc507564ed2ffa8e722c32ff53.jpeg, files/2023-12-31/image.jpg

    The command I used:

    dayone2 -d 2023-12-31 -a files/2023-12-31/fb1d70dc3b11d5fc507564ed2ffa8e722c32ff53.jpeg files/2023-12-31/image.jpg --journal "Journal" new <files/2023-12-31.md

If I specify only one of these files alone, the entry is created, but if I specify both with a space between them, the command fails.

Any advice on how to resolve this? The purpose of this is to migrate my markdown journal to day one.

    Thanks!

Specify the journal first and make sure to add a “–” before the “new” argument. I think your command should be:

    dayone2 --journal "Journal" -d 2023-12-31 -a files/2023-12-31/fb1d70dc3b11d5fc507564ed2ffa8e722c32ff53.jpeg files/2023-12-31/image.jpg -- new <files/2023-12-31.md
