Creating a back-up Folder?

  I have Journals for every years since 2015. To make room on Day One App, is it possible to move old Journals to a separate folder on my iMac? Cannot find a topic addressing this issue. Do you have an answer to my question? Thanks

  @aburdet If you need more space on your device, there’s an option that allows you to optimize your device storage, reducing the storage space Day One requires.

  On your Day One Mac, go to Settings (in the file menu) > Sync > and choose Optimize Device Storage.

  That said, before enabling this, please make sure to verify your data is synced by checking the web app: How do I know if my data is synced?
