Create password on certain journals

I have a bunch of different journals in DayOne some of them are memoirs I want to print into a book. Some are private. I want only the private ones to have a password and the rest to not have a password at all so that my son can access them. But if I give him the password then he’ll be able to access all of them. Is there a way to only assign a password to certain journals? or add an additional password to certain journals? In other words 1 pin to get into the app and then certain journals would require a secondary pin or something like that?

Thank you for sharing your request. Currently, Day One offers a single passcode or biometric lock for the app as a whole, but it doesn’t support assigning separate passwords or PINs to specific journals.
I’ve made sure to file a feature request on your behalf for the ability to add secondary passwords or PINs to specific journals. While I can’t guarantee a timeline for implementation, our team carefully considers user feedback when planning future updates.
