Copying a post from a shared journal to a non-shared journal has issues

Hi,
I have an entry that I should have posted in a private journal but I accidentally posted in a shared one. I need to move it from where it is, but a) there seems to be no move option from shared journals (?!?) and b) when I try to copy it I am getting a really weird behavior: the pop-up with the “in progress” shows up, which is to be expected, but the problem is it never goes away. And after waiting some minutes I press “Cancel” and then it asks me whether I want to “Stop copy” or “Continue copy” (again this is to be expected), and if I press “Continue copy” then wait a bit and go to the destination journal I can see my copied entry there, but then if I open it and close it, it disappears!! I tried this multiple times and this sequence happened every time.
Edited to add: actually, it seems that if I wait a bit before opening & closing the copy, it doesn’t get deleted anymore. Which is good, but the whole thing still feels rather unstable, given of how entries may or may not disappear depending on unclear things (i.e. how much do I need to make sure it sticks? No idea). Please help.

Could you please let us know which version of the Day One app you are currently using?

Hm, I currently have 2025.1.1, but it says it updated two days ago, so at the time I posted I very likely had the previous one (I can’t remember what it was, but I always use the latest available).

With this particular version, if you try to copy the entry to your personal journal, does it work?
I tested, and it seemed to work for me on my end. I was able to open the entry in the destination journal and then close it without it disappearing.
Do you still see the entry disappear after opening it?
