Can’t Restore Plus Account

Hi, I have been using Dayone for sometimes with so called Plus account. Recently I realized that my accounts are not synced due to missing encryption key. I followed the documented direction, deleted my old account, then created a new account and tried to restore my Plus account. It stays as Basic and I can only access from one device. What else should I do to resolve this situation? Thank you.

“Plus” is associated with your Apple ID that was used to purchase Day One before the subscription option. Are you signed in to the App Store using the same Apple ID that was used to buy Day One before the subscription?

Yes, i’m signed into same Apple ID account. Now, because it was suggested to log into the account using different email account, I am now using different email account with new log in.

Hi there, @mitssagae! Do you still need help with this? Your Plus status is not tied to the Day One account you deleted/created, but to the Apple ID that originally purchased Day One, so the app will stay on Basic until that purchase is correctly restored on the new account. You need to use the same Apple ID account that was used to make the original purchase. Please your Media & Purchases on the iOS device that was used initial to confirm you’re using the correct Apple ID account.
