Can’t move journal after crash

I had Day One classic installed on my 2015 MacBook Pro, which crashed fatally. Everything was backed up, and I was able to recover the library files from Time Machine. After installing Day One 2025.20 on my 2023 MacBook Pro running Sequoia 15.6.1., I attempted to move the old journal entries over using the instructions here. However, I keep getting the following error message:
“An error occurred while moving your journal. Please contact support if this error persists.”
