Can’t figure out how to sync templates

I am trying to sync my templates. When I go to My Templates (on web app) it says to Add Encryption Key, which has a link telling me to go to settings in the app to “View Encryption Key”, however that it not available in my Android App.
Why do I need e2ee to sync Templates but not journals?
I signed up and used the Web app before downloading and signing into android – might this be the issue?
Also I tried reporting this bug via the web app but I got an error – “We weren’t able to send your message. Please try again later”

Without sharing the key with us, is the encryption key present on any device in the following places?
- iOS: Day One > Settings > Sync > Encryption Key
- Mac: Day One > Settings > Sync > Advanced > View Encryption Key
- Android: Day One > Settings > Sync > Encryption Key
- Web: Day One > Settings > Account > Encryption Key
Why do I need e2ee to sync Templates but not journals?
It may be that the journal synced to our servers is not set to end-to-end in the journal settings. This is the default for all new journals created but if the journal was created in the past, it will need to be manually changed in the journal settings.
